FAQ

You May Have Health Insurance, But Do You Have Healthcare?

Membership FAQ:

Pros of membership:

  1. Better access – Dr. Sanders can see his patients same-day or next-day in most cases
  2. Shorter wait time – members rarely spend time in the waiting room
  3. More time with Dr. Sanders – extended office visits and face to face time with Dr. Sanders to meet your needs
  4. Cost-effective testing and treatments – pricing is transparent and offered at wholesale prices to keep costs down for the patient
  5. No copay – see Dr. Sanders or communicate via phone/text/video any time at no additional cost

What if I need emergency or hospital care?

  • Insurance coverage for hospital care and emergency care is recommended.  Coupling Dr. Sanders’ clinic offerings with a high deductible insurance plan or sharing ministry plan can offer substantial savings.  Please inquire if you would like specific recommendations.

How can I afford this?

  • Some health sharing ministries will pay for Direct Primary Care services
  • Insurance deductibles, copays, cost of labs, medications, etc. can oftentimes exceed the cost of membership with a lesser quality of care
  • Insurance should be utilized for high cost medical needs, not for routine visits, labs, and medications (similar to car insurance)

To keep costs down, Dr. Sanders:

  • Cuts out the middle man (insurance company) from routine medical care
  • Passes on to patients group membership pricing that obtain substantial cost savings for routine labs, medications, and supplies
  • Practices evidence-based medicine
